Seafood Festival News

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all of you for your help before, during, and after the fair.

Without your help the fair would not have been the success it was.

Althought we had trouble getting Booth Captains and manning the booths,

We had a record breaking number of volunteers for set-up which made the final week of week night set-ups go much less hectic.

God also blessed us with beautiful weather throughout the fair.

SMM Cheerleaders, Class performances, Wiseguys, Blackened Blues, MoJeaux and Top Cats all entertained us.

We had rides by Lowery Brothers.

There were lots of kid games, teen games, adult games, and great food booths manned by our very own parishioners.

A very successful festival critique meeting was held October 23,

There were alot of great suggestions.

We are in the process of repairing fryers and

Purchasing storage containers to replace the ones we have that have seen better days.

We noticed a lot of fun, smiles, sharing and friendship going on, and according to Fr. Bob, this means our Seafood Festival was a great success.

As a bonus, we did good financially, the Festival grossed about $250,000.

So count yourself in that number that made it a BIG SUCCESS!
